Hi Everyone!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. The weather was a bit inclement this weekend, so me and Dad decided to hide in the conservatory and look at different ways to make your own plant labels!

As mentioned on the video we also wanted to give you a bit of a green house update!

Tomatoes – they are progressing well and Dad is watering on a regular basis, but not feeding yet. Dad has the fun job of finding all the side shoots each day (but some always seem to get passed him!) The tomatoes in the plain buckets with John Inns are certainly progressing better than the rest at the moment  – however the proof will be how many tomatoes we get! Generally there is at least 2 trusses of flowers on each plant, and when the tomatoes form on the first truss, then we will start to feed.

Cucumbers – these are also doing well, with the first indication of cucumbers forming. The peppers and chillies are also doing well.

Most of the bedding plants are now out of the green house and have been planted, with just a couple of fuchsia plants for some colour still in the green house.

The sweet peas outside the green house are starting to flower, these plants will help to create some shade in the green house on hot summer days!

Dad is also rather pleased with his hanging baskets, so i’m sure we will do a video on them soon!

Hope you all have a good week and the weather picks up,

Laura and David
